This time of year is perfect for dining outside & the overhead heated patio was an added bonus. I ordered one of each speciality pizzas. My favorite was the pesto so light and incredibly flavorful. The oven roasted thin charred crust was made to perfection. I’m not onion lover which they packed the salad with & the large is enough to share with 3-4 people.
My first visit was a fantastic experience. The manager generously offered me a complimentary dessert for sharing the Grimaldi name—a thoughtful touch that made the visit even more special. The pizza was absolutely worth the wait, and the entire staff—from the servers to the bakers—was exceptional. The warm atmosphere and beautifully designed interior made it a truly memorable outing.

And speaking of the best dish—the Barbecue Chicken pizza is the way to go. The smoky, tangy sauce and juicy chicken come together perfectly. Whether you’re with kids or a significant other, this place has a great atmosphere and even better food.
I had a pizza late toward their closing hour there were two or three people at the bar, a cool music, the waiter came, she was nice, I ordered the pizza and when the pizza came, I knew I wasn't wrong to have pushed the door in. Man, the pizza was excellent.
Grimaldi's is easily the best pizza in Austin despite being a nationwide chain. This was my first visit to the Austin location and it was a great overall experience. I've been to numerous other Grimaldi's locations in other cities and this location easily matched their quality and service. My family and I ordered a Caesar salad, a traditional pie with pepperoni, mushrooms, and white onions, and a traditional pie with ham and Italian sausage. Our waitress, Leah, was also the bartender but she was attentive, friendly, and checked on us regularly. The food came out fairly quickly and was certainly fresh. The restaurant itself was clean and well kept with plenty of staff members tending to things to make sure it stayed nice. I can't recommend Grimaldi's enough, especially if you live in a city that doesn't have a ton of quality NYC style pizza.

Best pizza I’ve ever had omg. Gluten free is sometimes hard to come across but this place nailedddd it and service was amazing!
We absolutely love Grimaldi's. The food and service are always great! The only one thing that I wish they would do is add a kid menu. We had just a Spinach salad and kids had slice of pizzas. We've been here a few times and have had some appetizers which have been all great as well. The food has never disappointed us. I would most definitely recommend going. There is an inside bar you can sit at, and they even have a little outdoor patio if you would like to sit outside on a nice day. It's a very nice, quiet, and nicely lit environment.
